One Week

Ahnyong! (Hello!)

Thanks for joining me in my blog and taking an interest in my journey.

Whether you’re here because you’re a friend wanting to keep tabs on me, a parent making sure I’m still OK, or a friendly Internet surfer looking for insider information on South Korea before your big Asian summer vacation, I hope you find what you’re looking for and more.

My year residency teaching in Namyangju begins in just one week, and I’m super excited! I’m overwhelmed with “things I just have to do” and people I need to see.

On top of this, my brother, Nick, and I participated in the A3F 48-hour film competition in Phoenix and we just found out we made the top 20. I can’t wait to see our 5 1/2 minute film on the big screen next Thursday! So, overall anticipation is just killing me that much faster.

I look forward to writing about my experience abroad daily and receiving any comments, questions, or feedback you may have.

Let’s get this show on the road!

Kaley

  • :P hey silly, I will be keeping tabs on ya, thats right, I am your good fortune cookie…loool.
girl, I miss you, and I am sad I wont see you before you go, but how is the weather for winter in Korea? I am seriously thinking of stopping by for a week in winter…let me know, so I gotta start saving up from now.
love you more, to bad you couldn’t be in Dubai with me now.

  • Alo habipti! Shukran gezeelan for the message, so sweet of you, really. Seasons are the same in Korea, just a little more intense- mid 40’s during the day and mid 30’s during the night for right now. They’ve usually got humidity over there too, so it’ll be nice ‘n sticky icky.

HOW IS DUBAIIIII?!?! I so wish I could be there with you now. I tried to make it happen, girl, they just don’t need me right now.

I hope you DO come stay with me inshallah. Oh wow….. we would have waaaaay too much fun. We’ll make up for not being together for your Dubai Days ;-) .
